After the rootsy Americana album Born To Win Born To Lose (2021), the sixth album, a true pop record, was released on Valentine's Day 2024: Where Did All The Cool Kids Go? Featuring the hits This World Is Our Home and Nothing To Lose. The album, written with Stijn Van Dalen and producer Gordon Groothedde, is about love in the broadest sense of the word. About feeling at home on this earth, being happy in this world and with the people you love.

Douwe Bob won the first edition of De Beste Singer-Songwriter van Nederland in 2012, represented the Netherlands at the Eurovision Song Contest in 2016, was twice awarded a 3FM Award, a BUMA Award and three times with an Edison. In 2023, he celebrated his 10-year anniversary and featured in the TV programme De Beste Zangers. A new docu-series will be released in early 2024 (BNN Vara), the follow-up to the IDFA docu "Whatever Forever" (2013) over 10 years later.
