Matangi is one of the most versatile string quartets on the international music scene. Conceived in 1999 in the bosom of the Royal Conservatory in The Hague, the quartet will celebrate its 25th anniversary in 2024. Named after Matangi, the Indian tantric goddess who stands for music and knowledge, the quartet has honoured its namesake for many years.
