For this piano concert, two Parisian Erard grand pianos from around 1900 will be set up on which pianists Van Poucke and Schonewille will perform a Romantic duo programme. The two versatile pianists enjoy playing historical instruments.

Historically, the Erard instruments are considered the most authoritative and have had a great influence on most of the piano music from the Romantic and Impressionist periods. The listener thus gets a unique opportunity to hear the repertoire for two pianos on authentic instruments and thereby get even closer to the composer's ideal of sound.
