Jennifer Romen (Maastricht, 1996) is a young, ambitious choreographer who impresses with her company Oxygen with visual work full of choreographies and visual illusions detailed to perfection.

As an urban dance maker, she follows an unorthodox route to the theatre. She is creating a furore in dance competitions, television programmes, on the commercial circuit and as a teacher. During her first full-length performance of her own, 'Delusion', she played both the stage and the auditorium and managed to get the audience out of the plush.
The overwhelmingly positive reactions made it clear that Delusion tasted like more.

In 'DELUSION II - THE FINAL CHAPTER', Jennifer takes you into a next-level interplay between dance and illusion, in a breathtaking, innovative form of theatre.
'DELUSION II - THE FINAL CHAPTER' picks up where Delusion ended. In part two, the character we followed on her path from adolescence to adulthood, from insecure to powerful, faces her greatest adversary. Is it an opponent she must win from, or a part of herself she must learn to accept and even embrace? The dualities interact with each other, sometimes in battle, sometimes in love.

In this performance, choreographer Jennifer Romen will again use blacklight, shadow play and projections to show the audience intangible illusions.an exciting interplay between the dancers and the light and unprecedentedly tight choreography will blow you away even more this time. Jennifer founded dance crew Oxygen in 2015. Oxygen won the National, European and World Championships Small Group HipHop. In 2018, they won the television programme 'Dance As One'and received a Golden Buzzer during the audition for 'France Got Talent'. In 2020, they reached the finals of the NBC programme 'World of Dance' in America.
With 'Delusion', they toured full, enthusiastic theatres in 2023.
