Roel Noten is the new chairman of the Supervisory Board of De Maaspoort in Venlo. He thereby succeeds Léon Faassen, who was recently installed as a member of the Limburg Provincial Executive. Noten has worked internationally for multinationals for 41 years and has owned a company specialising in supply chain management, business processes and projects for 10 years. Noten specialises in finding the optimal connection between supply chain, the shop floor and IT.
Noten says of his appointment, "I am extremely honoured to become chairman of De Maaspoort's Supervisory Board. De Maaspoort has an important place in the North and Central Limburg cultural landscape, which we should use sparingly. The collaboration with other cultural organisations and the integration of the hospitality industry are crucial to give the people of the region the right entertainment through exciting programming. As chairman of the Supervisory Board, I can use my expertise and experience in organisation and cooperation and benefit the team at De Maaspoort, led by director-director Leon Thommassen." De Maaspoort sees in Roel Noten a worthy successor to Léon Faassen and looks forward to his arrival and cooperation.
