Stage technology specialist and planner | 36 hours

At Maaspoort Theatre & Events, we are looking for a driven stage technology specialist and planner. If you are passionate about - as a sub-task - drawing up perfect plans and realising breathtaking performances and unique events, then we are looking for you. Your role includes three challenging components:

1. Planner:
- You will independently draw up work schedules for the technical department, under the supervision of the Building & Technology Manager.
- Your rosters comply with the applicable ARBO and CAO regulations.
- You independently collect the necessary information, such as technical lists and reports from our information system (Yesplan); you proactively request missing information from external contacts.
- When planning performances and events, you take into account the applicable agreements and calculations.
- As a planner, you compile the most efficient schedule with an eye for employees, performance, quality and budget.

2. Stage technology specialist:
- You are responsible for the successful realisation of performances, concerts and other events
- You carry out your work mainly within De Maaspoort, but sometimes also at external locations.
- You have extensive expertise in all aspects of stage technology, including lighting, sound and AV technology.
- You strictly apply the correct ARBO and safety regulations.
- Maintaining theatre-technical equipment is also part of your responsibilities.
- You advise if required and actively bring forward recommendations for the purchase of new or replacement equipment.

3. Performance leader/stage manager:
- You are the first (technical) point of contact at performances and events
- You coordinate the day's team and give instructions at the start of the shift.
- Working closely with the Building & Technical Manager and other performance leaders, you ensure that the technical aspect of the day runs smoothly.
- You ensure that work is carried out according to the instructions and reports given.
- You monitor the execution, planning and budget and make adjustments if necessary.
- At the end of the day, you report and mention any discrepancies.

Pre:
- Certificate BMT (Operation Mechanical Towing Wall).
- Certificate in in-house emergency response (BHV).
- Experience (and affinity) with planning in Nostradamus or no reluctance to master it
- Affinity with the culture and theatre sector.
