Fair practice goes without saying for us. Fair payment is vital for a sustainable cultural sector.

We pay fair market remuneration to everyone who contributes, including our interns and volunteers. We respect copyright and will always make every effort to give artists and authors the right remuneration. All acts presenting on Maaspoort's stages are always paid, even if they are just taking their first steps on stage.

We organise the preconditions for safe working in Maaspoort for our employees, interns, ZZP-ers and volunteers through the right insurances and the right materials and guidelines. A safe and healthy working environment is extremely important to us, which is why we strictly adhere to the rules in the CAO Nederlandse Podia and strictly monitor compliance with all safety regulations. Training is also important in this respect.

Thanks to the self-assessment system, our employees are not only invited and challenged to take a critical look at their own development, but are also made aware of opportunities to develop themselves. Further training is also actively encouraged thanks to the annual training budget. In addition, we attach great importance to values in the code such as transparency and open communication as important pillars within our organisation.
