TV registration of Viva Classic Live 2024
The ornate setting of Venlo's old town hall and the adjoining atmospheric Market Square is the place to be for music lovers from all over the world to enjoy international classical (opera) music.
Since 2012, Viva Classic Live has therefore become an indispensable part of the Dutch concert calendar and every year, lovers of classical music are touched by Baritone Sef Thissen and world-famous top soloists. The multi-day concert series is traditionally supported by The New Symphonics and Coro Classico led by maestro Maurice Luttikhuis.
This edition, Viva Classic Live will be entirely dedicated to Venlo-based artist Evert Thielen, who is exhibiting at the Museum van Bommel van Dam at the same time. Based on themes chosen by Thielen himself, music selections will be enhanced by razor-sharp images of his impressive works of art.
This year, Sef Thissen will again bring several internationally acclaimed top soloists to Venlo. Downright special is the arrival of the monumental male choir De Mastreechter Staar. During all concerts, the entire choir will travel from Maastricht to Venlo to present itself during Viva Classic Live.
With soloists Sef Thissen, Antonello Palombi, Mastreechter Staar and others.
